You seem to have missed that it isn't a matter of "too much work." "I don't want to" is a perfectly good reason to refuse a telephone survey.

Wow. No wonder people don't want to talk to you! Hint: they aren't trying to avoid thinking, they are trying to avoid your BS.

What I hate is when I do find a stray and try to place it with a rescue, and the rescue gives me shit about it. I have pets of my own, I can't take any more, and that's just how it is. But I've encountered a few rescues who were very rude and just skirted accusing me of abandoning an animal. When I was trying to help

This is actually kind of driving me nuts. I want to know why the striped shirts.

"Landslide" is a beautiful song. But this isn't "utterly listenable" - it's barely listenable. Her voice, which was never stellar, is totally shot and blown out. Her voice sounded strained and as though she had not enough breath.

I didn't watch the video: did she call herself "Lily" or ask people to call her that? Because if not, I think it's really disrespectful how many commenters here are calling her by a diminutive nickname.

It basically means "meadow with lilies and roses." I don't think that's ridiculous.

Oh, so you're supposedly a science teacher in training, and you don't know how to do basic research? Here you go, kiddo. (Also, protip: no one owes you any fucking citations on the internet.)

You said that obesity is an eating disorder. It is not. Obesity is a calculation of weight to height, and that is all it is. Obesity has many causes. You assume that obesity is always caused by overeating, when that is not remotely the case.

"obesity is a function of being really unhealthily fat (right?)."

Underdevelopment, failure to thrive, and being overweight can actually all co-exist together. You act like they are some kind of mutually repellant anti-matter.

No, I have permanent metabolic damage and auto-immune problems.

Ok, it's clear that reading comprehension is not your strong point. Possibly you're just really into lying. I never said you were anorexic, so accusing me of doing so is dishonest.

These claims have long been debunked by actual scientists.

Actually, there is a great deal of variation in metabolism between different people and even different regions. However, most medical research studies in the US are done on white men, a pretty homogenous group. This gives the layman the impression that there isn't much variation, when in fact there is a great deal.

You are a total sack of shit.

Thyroid disease is not rare at all, let alone "very, very, very" rare. Thyroid disease in childhood is less common than in adults, but it is also not rare. I had thyroid disease as a child, but it went into remission when I was a teen, only to recur in my early 20s.

Your "information" is not actually backed by science. The idea of you teaching "science" is terrifying.

If you were really a big nerd about health and fitness, you would know that the stomach doesn't work the way you say it does. It is a slightly stretchy organ, which stretches to accommodate the food placed within it. It does not get "stretched out." It does not change its actual size and stretchability.
