Stupid localization is going to screw this movie for non-Japanese audiences, i.e. the NA version of the game says the series takes place in Los Angeles, and last I checked, most people don't speak Japanese in that area.

PS4 is such a bland name. It's old and worn out. Sony should give it a modern name, reflecting the current film industry's brilliant use of homophones.

If you actually click on the link for the gaming store that commissioned the piece, you'll see that this picture actually has nothing to do with Super Smash Bros at all. It's just supposed to be a mash-up of famous video game characters. I'll blame your confusion on Kotaku's misleading article title.

As someone who actually owns a real, quality made ocarina that plays as well as any other instrument, I have to say that one just looks like crap.

It's sad yet true. But hey, don't blame the articles, blame the people. It's not an author's fault if ignorant readers decide to spew their deeply held stereotypes and opinions all over the comment threads just because of the sheer mention of the word "America". And even if 90% of the readers are this way, at least

I haven't seen a doctor in a while, but believe me, with my lifestyle, I'm pretty much expecting to be diagnosed with a vitamin D deficiency. But unlike you Owen, I don't live in Oregon — I live in Florida.

This isn't some kiddie game.

"We will not have to redo completely the games we create. We'll be able to use all the capacities the console is giving, but also use all the work that we do for the other platforms."

I don't think its against any rules. Yes, the game is only on the PlayStation, but it's not like it's published by Sony, or saying "Anyway, lets go buy a PS3". The statement doesn't imply anything negative about the Xbox, the Xbox version of the game, or the game itself, so it would be really hard to find anything

In regard to the 3DS comment, I say just get it. I'm not going to say that Nintendo is never going to release a new version, because that's pretty much impossible. However, I will tell you that the odds of seeing a new version before Holiday 2012 (at earliest) is very, very low. Nintendo knows damn well the massive

There is no organization that declares official demonyms. They come to be by majority rule. American is the default demonym for the united states, and when applied without context, it is implying one from the USA. The history is simple. "American" is an English word, and when said in English, it is based on English

But the term "American" is the official demonym for people from the USA. It's been that way for centuries. Considering that you are "a United States citizen", I'd expect you to know that. Insulting someone for using the correct term out of overt political correctness makes you sound awfully arrogant.

As an owner of the 3DS since launch, I can honestly tell you are wrong. The two main reasons why are 1) There is pop out 3D. I noticed it the moment I booted up the system. Granted, it's not up in your face, but that's because the screen is too small to achieve that level of pop-out. Instead, I've seen it appear to

After I bought my 3DS at launch and told my friends about it, the very first question people kept asking was some variation of "Does the 3D actually work?" or "Is it a fake/crappy effect?" No one had ever seen the thing, so the common thought was that the glasses-less 3D was inadequate or "fake" looking. I had to

Is there supposed to be a video clip in this article? Because I don't see one.

Don't take any offense. The English meaning of that word is entirely different than the Spanish one, and I'm willing to bet that's the version Nintendo is referencing, considering how prominent English is in Japan.

I guess no use crying over spilt milk. At least the 3DS games remain un-pirated.

"The bottom line is that it's not how soon you're portraying bloody events, but whose blood is being shed."

...Damn!

Borders filing for chapter 11 is really sad, though this explains why my local Borders suddenly closed down a few weeks ago. As for the rest of these links, I scoff at them. Especially the last two....
