But this issue is totally in the wheelhouse of her show, so it would be natural for her to talk about it. And as she's such a "no fear" type of totally outraaaageous feminist, why would she let something as stupid and patriarchal as her marriage get in the way of talking about it?
Just like you wouldn't refer to a cis woman as a woman identifying person.
She has a huge public platform. She could have at least tweeted that she doesn't agree with her husband about it.
