Went to see this tonight, expecting to not like it, but its a Solid B Movie that is a bit predictable. Enjoyed myself, It would make for an excellent MST3K/Rifftrax ing. If you enjoy horror I’d put it on my watch list, but If you really enjoy horror, the puzzles are great on the big screen, and the effects are great,

“...so if Mack is guilty, the argument runs, then Scientology must be, too.”

Nothing says “I honor and uphold American values” like wanting it to be illegal to make fun of you.

Yup, me too. Both on Safari and Chrome.

Off topic but for a week now Kinja has been barely functional.  When I click on my tab, it shows me when I’ve gotten a reply to a post, but votes are simply a blank window with a time.  And when I attempt to click on the reply so I can view and respond, the link doesn’t work, which makes it damn near impossible to

I don’t think Marvel felt fighting Nazis was too dated of a concept - I think they thought showing a fictional hero fighting Nazis could be seen as trivializing real-life evil. (Spielberg said much the same after SCHINDLER’S LIST vis-a-vis Indiana Jones).

I personally would have rather seen Cap fight actual Nazis in

If I wanted to express a contrarian, ‘brave’ opinion just to get attention, I’d be...well, you, I guess. Hard pass.

Brad Bird has already made his Fantastic Four movies. He just called them The Incredibles.

I think there are other options for a Fantastic Four movie between (or besides) Tim Story’s broad sitcom movie and Trank’s dour one. I like fun, silly movies as much as anyone - and indeed, the FF *should* be fun and silly - but those FF movies mostly didn’t work for me.

You ranked Infinity War too low.

Captain America really is great at evoking that simpler, more innocent time when everyone could agree that punching Nazis was a Good Thing. Man, remember 2011?

It would be amazing if he would do one more, Hard-R or Unrated, movie before he retires. He has it in him, I know he does.

As they say, YMMV. I for one thought this was a very delightful, if simplistic, outing, and found Momoa surprisingly adept at comedy, so much so that I almost can buy him auditioning for SNL at some point. I was shocked by how good he was in the elves sketch, actually creating a character out of the “haha, teens

Yeah I'm honestly not sure what Perkins wants with the Trump jokes. It's network tv, they aren't gonna do anything too biting or aggressive.

Do we have to complain every week about WU not doing enough Trump jokes? Yes, every week there are ridiculous/awful things they gloss over or don’t mention at all. Every week there are enough ridiculous/awful things to give them material for the entire 12 minute segment, with plenty to spare. They want to do other

Okay, we need to talk about DeNiro on SNL—don’t have DeNiro on SNL.
