This game feels way more like a classic Resi than 4, 5 and 6 did. I think you might be doing yourself a disservice if that’s the only reason.
Why would you look at this like a new IP? This is just a smaller scale story in the RE universe. And the gameplay takes lots of cues from the earlier games.
