You know, I enjoy the motorsport for what it is. But I really hate that they glamorize the wrecks in this. They show them in the previews. They highlight them in the marketing. The announcers even say “if you’re looking for big wrecks, you’re in the right spot.”

Whose 1969 Beetle is that?

you talking about a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man? Got mine from Al Harrington.

I’m 59. In the unlikely event I find myself financially solvent enough to own a vehicle again a Buick Park Avenue is on the “To Buy” list.

GM used to do it too.

Hard to be sneaky with a tow truck.

Did he check Davids yard yet? It may be there.

I hate it when it comes out lumpy.

Purposefully sitting in someone's blind spot is just idiotic. Blind spot warning tech is not going away just because you don't like it. What a jerk you are.

Another day, another Jalopnik commenter bragging about their shitty driving habits and then “well actually-ing” when someone else lets them know how much of an asshole they are.

You are also a bad and dangerous driver and shouldnt be driving.

I mean, if you want to risk people’s safety on the road doing 70+ mph, why limit yourself to vehicles with SuperCruise? Why not do it to little old ladies with zero active safety features, or freshly licensed 16 year old’s with high nerves and sometimes dramatic reactions?

So, you intentionally spend time out on our public roads trying to make things more dangerous for everybody else?

That is the dumbest fucking thing a person has ever said to me.

Why would you want to do this?  Why does it please you to make someone else’s day more difficult?

I said “decent place”, not decent area...

Neither of those places are decent.

I paid $72,000 for my perfectly lovely home in a small college city in the Northeast.

There is nothing frugal about buying a 2020 Escalade at any price. My god, I can’t understand paying these kinds of prices for a new vehicle.
