+1 for G8 love. My ‘09 GT was a lovely combination of comfort, simplicity, practicality, and power.

Have you driven one? This offering may be a turd, but a V8, 6 speed 4th gen f-body is very fun car with huge aftermarket support. My ‘95 hardtop doesn’t squeak or droop and is a competitive autocross car with very few upgrades. You have me on the panel gaps and low grade plastics, but there has to be a compromise…
1993-1997 F-bodies could be had with the LT1. Later models got the LS1 option.
The LS3 will never have the attitude of the LS7, but it does have reliability.
C6 Grand Sport owner here. It really can toodle around comfortably in traffic like an old buick or be an ear-splitting hand full on a track when you want it to be. It does a lot of things well.
Phil Schilke sounds like every non-racing a-hole at an autocross event who has a camaro at home with a 600 hp 327 that will turn 10K rpm and dust everything on course. He didn’t take it today because it’s at his buddy’s getting painted.
If it’s sitting in a barn or unheated structure where the floor is prone to large temperature changes, park it on a tarp to prevent condensation from collecting on the undercarriage and rusting it. I also seal off the tailpipes and air intake to stop rodents from nesting there. Dessicant is also key to preventing…
They also incorporated some interesting aero changes over the regular S10 (2/3 tonneau cover with the front part open, bespoke air dam).
A high 5 second 0-60 is now inadequate for auto reviewers. Wow.
It’s socks look black, not red.
Maybe all those drivers were enraged by incessant pop ups on their favourite car site demanding they subscribe to a newsletter and they took it out on LA’s pedestrians...
I heard a story about a former stuntman and a country music singer + his dog smuggling Coors across state lines to win a bet. There was a well-intentioned county sheriff, an estranged fiancee, and a variety of automotive antics. It really should get a shot at the big screen.
PONTIAC!!!!
I agree - worth it for the widebody platform and engine parts (for swap money) if the engine is trashed.
It doesn’t look brand new to me.
If you can’t find it in your cold dead heart to vote NP on an LT1 Camaro with a slushbox and aftermarket stereo for just a 1/4 million bucks, you’re a bad person.
Nice price if you view it as a vette-cart starter pack.
Hot rod Lincoln!
2010 GS owner here and mostly agree, but it is not the perfect size. It is a really, really wide car. The seats still leave a lot to be desired too...
They’ll easily do more than 120 km/h on the highway, but we were going downhill at the time.
