No, this is the actor who portrayed Michael Oher, not Michael Oher himself.

No, they got him into one specific football college. He was already a star player when they let him move in. He’s said many times that the movie portrayal of that was fiction. He knew how to play and was on the team already when they met.

That’s true, but in a vast generalization on a situation that I obviously don’t know any specifics about, unless the parents specified otherwise, adopted children and biological children are treated the same regarding inheritance law.

If they’d legally adopted him, he would be entitled to the same inheritance as their biological children. He probably only just found out that he wasn’t, so now he wants compensation for all the money they made off him. I’m sure he knew he wasn’t getting checks from the book/movie, but he probably didn’t worry too

I saw Leigh Ann Tuohy speak once. It was a long time ago now, but I remember enjoying her lecture. Bless her heart, she seemed so nice. Guess that’s how she got that book/movie/speaker gig.

I don’t think so. I think she already lost any fans who would drop her over that after You Need to Calm Down.

I think part of the problem is how it impacts others. If Taylor comes out now, every woman she’s ever been friends with, and especially Karlie, will be subject to even more scrutiny and hounding by paps and swifites. And all the men she dated will be questioned too. It will be one of the biggest celebrity gossip

The timing really makes me suspect covid might be a thing. I also haven’t seen some friends in about 3 years because they turned out to have very different priorities than me.

I feel like edibles are a way easier sell at a concert venue. I doubt many venues want people smoking during a concert, for a lot of reasons.

Wait a second- we’re not subsidizing anything. Does netflix pay for content per stream? Like every time I watch the Hunger Games, is netflix sending a dollar to the movie studio?
I’d be curious to see how Netflix’s fixed costs shake out. Do they pay $x per stream or do they pay $x,xxx, xxx for a catalog of movies?

Either

In Texas, you can be a Midwife or a Certified Nurse Midwife. This woman is currently licensed by the state as a midwife and as a massage therapist. If she were a CNM, she’d be licensed by the Texas board of nursing.

The baby was only 3 days old. Some midwives provide care for a few weeks after birth. That said, other people have pointed out that this midwife wasn’t an RN.

You know what the best part of the Mario movie was? It was short. When was the last time Disney/Pixar made a 92 minute movie?

I wonder which song the video will be for? A heist theme- My first thought is I Know Places, but that wouldn’t make sense right now. Do we think it’s a song from Midnights or a Speak Now rerecord?

This is the entire plot of that show, Girl Boss, on Netflix, about the founding of Nasty Gal.

This list is a big to small priority list too. Trash first, because you deserve a space without trash. Then dishes, because those can get moldy and attract pests. (so can trash). Laundry, for hygiene, then things that have a place are easier, things that don’t have a place are the hardest and usually the least

Having a place for things that don’t have a place- like a bin or box for things I don’t know what to do with has been a good thing for making my space more functional. I don’t have to find a place for them right now, just tidy up my space. Eventually I can deal with them, and KC Davis does have some videos on how to

The other important part of this method is the order. Trash first, then dishes prioritizes a functional space. Having laundry all over is less unpleasant than having trash all over, and laundry is easier than “things that don’t have a place”, so if you get tired before hitting all 5 categories, at least you’ve done

No, you get an N/A until you have enough credit history to get a score, but from there the scores are calculated from some formula that no one really understands except the companies that came up with them.

There’s definitely a market for a fiduciary that supplies bespoke loans for essential car purchases to subprime borrowers, but I kind of doubt anyone with the money to back such a thing wants to risk it.”
