No, the crew can call in sick- in fact, if they don’t call in and quarantine if they have symptoms of norovirus they will be fired immediately. A family member used to work for carnival, and they did not fuck around with norovirus. And even with that, outbreaks happened often enough to be in the news every summer.

Well it the water is 35 degrees, the air should be at least...65?

So, I only watch tennis when my father in law does, but the interviews are really that important as part of this tournament?

Don’t forget childcare! I paid $200 a week pre-pandemic for one toddler. $15 an hour for 20 hours a week is $300. That would cover daycare, but not by a whole lot (also, I’m not doing tax math. It would be less than $300)

I’m trying to make one for tech support demos and it’s so frustrating.

If your child were in a high risk category, you’d understand how herd immunity works and you’d want all their classmates vaccinated too.

I got chicken pox when I was 4 and now I could get shingles 50 years later. I’ll take my chances with a safe vaccine before a disease with unknown long term outcomes.

Another factor is childcare. Maybe the job at KFC pays better than unemployment, but I doubt it pays enough to cover childcare costs. And it certainly isn’t going to guarantee set hours during the school day.

But then why wouldn't planned parenthood just do the abortions? The first time anyone tries to enforce this law, they have their lawsuit.

When our son was diagnosed with epilepsy, our neurologist was really adamant that we never, ever try to drive him ourselves if the rescue meds didn’t stop the seizure or if he was having trouble breathing. She said to call 911. It’s not overkill, it’s not dramatic. Call the ambulance.

Even my 5 year old was asking when he could get his vaccine recently. I’m not sure he’s aware that vaccine = shot though.

Samantha Harkington, the prissy little princess, taught me valuable lessons about rich bitches. (Avoid them.)

Okay, another question:

What was the election turnout like? I bet a local May election had very, very little turnout. I live in Texas and this is the first I’m hearing of this ballot measure. Seems like the kind of thing people should have been campaigning on for months.

I don’t think anyone can sue anyone for anything- you have to prove that they harmed you somehow. So the guy in your scenario has to prove that the friend harmed him by driving his ex to the clinic for the abortion. And it’s just odd? Like Lane mentioned in the comment, why not sue the ex directly?

how could you claim emotional distress over the actions of a third party? i.e. if the family member is suing, what is their standing, how were they injured? I would argue that the individual having the abortion caused the emotional distress and should share the burden of damages.

You are supposed to be baptized and in good standing with the Catholic church to take their communion.

Brown sugar pop tarts with butter are so good. Toast them, then slather the unfrosted side while they’re hot so the butter soaks in to the dry pastry.

That dead kid didn’t ask to not be vaccinated. Charge the parents with willful neglect leading to the death of a child regardless if it was their own child or not- giving birth to the kid doesn’t mean they shouldn’t face consequences of neglecting them. And if they have other children, those children need to be

There’s a line in the first Hobbit film (It wasn’t in the book, just the movie)
