Itis faster than all those cars. The GT2RS was more than two seconds slower on Laguna Seca and more than 3 on Saschenring. Well that car doesn’t exist right now. When that car comes out it will likely be faster. Until we get lap times for a faster one my statement is correct.

Saying that car is a 911 is like saying the Nissan LMP1 car is a GTR. That thing is essentially a prototype.

That is why cars have options. I highly doubt there will only be one choice for the interior.

We’ll see what happens if the FIA lets them race a mid-engined 911. If not they may end up changing the road car or not racing it anymore. Either way it is going to be a shit storm among the fans. The rear-engined swinging cars days are numbered. It is sad though, because it is truly unique and awesome.

Yeah when that car gets comparable test laps in it might make the statement incorrect. The facelift will have to make up at least 2 seconds on most tracks to catch up. We’ll have to see.

I want to clarify that I most likely wouldn’t choose the Z06 over many 911s (Carrera S+)or Caymans (S+), but objectively it is better.

When you consider the performance of the two cars the Corvette beats the 911 every step of the way. Especially considering the Z06 is faster than every 911 ever made. I cant wait to see how far up the Porsche range this car punches.
