I had to wait to ensure that all of the clothes would be at peak mockability. Actually, I started watching it because my younger sister (who is basically the same age as the show) made me.

I'm still working on my list of favorite shows of 2015, so here's my list of favorite shows that I finally decided to start watching this year:

I can't really make a good case for why I like Last Man on Earth, but I do.

I liked iZombie in its first season, but over the course of its second season it has rapidly risen in my personal rankings. It's basically the only thing I don't let sit on the DVR for a while.

I saw Matilda this weekend and I didn't love it, but When I Grow Up was definitely the standout moment for me.

Grumpy Karl Urban never ceases to delight me. Heck, I watched that Almost Human show to see more of it.

I love Scalzi's sci-fi and I wish there was more like it. Part of why I like the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl comic so much is that she solves a lot of problems by talking instead of by punching.

I wound up getting them in ebook form from a website hosting the Cryoburn CD that Baen released a while back that had all of the books on it. It claims that the disk is allowed to be copied and shared, so I don't feel too bad.

I've actually been rereading Lois Lowry's Anastasia Krupnik books and they hold up SO WELL. It's interesting to see what went over my head as a kid (I didn't understand the thing about naming Sam One-Ball Reilly) and what stuff I picked up (I definitely learned what a flasher was from those books).

I read a lot of books this year (90 so far, but this includes stuff like comics in trades), but only a handful of them were things I'd been meaning to get to for a while.

I read all three of them this summer in a week and it was one of my favorite reading experiences of the year. I need the fourth book to come out already, but I am also really not ready for it. Poor Gansey indeed.

I started this but I abandoned it after about 100 pages. I do WANT to read it eventually, it just seems like I'll need to be in a specific mood to actually make it through.

That's why I like it! It's such lazy garbage that I actually admire it.

Thank you! I just tried it and it does work a hell of a lot better.

I've been getting a lot of new book recommendations from Book Riot's All The Books podcast.

I have that same problem trying to find TV Club recaps.

I also started watching Steven Universe this year. I really wish Hulu would put all the episodes up already, I need more!

Bob's Burgers is a big one for me too. My brother told me it reminded him of our family and he was not wrong.

At first I thought Santino Fontana was kinda weird looking. Then I saw Settle For Me and all of a sudden I have a crush on him.

I have a friend who lives near Rob in Tennessee and she was pissed about that. Apparently that's a pretty common pronunciation around there.
