And puppies!

That analysis makes a lot of sense to me. I do feel there are shows that are trying to swing positive (Ben and Kate, Trophy Wife, Bunheads, and Galavant) but they're all getting cancelled. I guess Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an exception, but then it's also from the Parks people.

That's numberwang!

My roommate and I both screamed loudly when Ann showed up, and that's despite me seeing her name in the opening credits and thus knowing she'd be there in some capacity.

I hear you. I started watching Parks and Rec in the fall of 2011, right after my boyfriend moved to a different continent and I started grad school. That year was the worst of my life so far and having Parks and Rec to watch brought me that same joy and escape and I am so, so grateful.

God, what a depressing class. I'm with you on hoping for more kind-hearted, character-centric tv shows in the future. I feel like it's only a Golden Age for tv now if you like it dark, and while I like it dark sometimes (my other favorite show is Hannibal), I'd love for the tv landscape to have wider range.

I feel like the "fuck it, everyone will see this regardless" mentality should lead to more adventurous, artistic posters and not a half-assing* of the posters.

I loved the first two books in this series, so I'm glad to see this reviewed on the AV Club. I'm at an age where I've lost interest in a lot of YA authors I enjoyed when I was actually a teen, but Maureen Johnson is one of the few who hasn't lost their appeal for me.

Fawn's line about wearing her strapless bra as a belt killed me. That's the kind of joke that makes it clear that they actually have women in the writing room.

He's a "judge" on the Perdple's Court.

I adored Jess when I was first watching the show and was a dumb 13 year old (the scene where he gets wet turning off the sprinklers awoke something in me) but rewatching it now is painful because he's awful when they actually get together. I do still hold out hope that they could have reconnected once they were

I despised Logan so much that after watching four seasons of The Good Wife I can't decide if I like Cary or not because I'm so used to hating his stupid face.

I would totally read a sequel to "Running Out of Time." I loved that book.

I have been trying SO HARD to get Pandora to realize I basically never want to hear a live version of anything. I'm not sure if I'm succeeding or if I've just been listening to artists who don't do a lot of live stuff recently.

Harpoon UFO pumpkin is my favorite pumpkin beer so far. It's not as aggressively pie-like as some others, but reminds me more of the pumpkin juice I had in Hogsmeade at Universal Studios, which is what I want in a pumpkin beer.

There's only two possible choices for best Jack Black movie: School of Rock or Kung Fu Panda. I did appreciate his cameo in The Muppets as well.

I'm gonna go with "A-Tisket, A-Tasket" (the episode where the ladies make picnic baskets and the dudes bid on them). I love the town silliness and it has great moments between all of my favorite couples. Jackson and Sookie were always a delight, and I always liked Luke/Lorelai and Rory/Jess more when they were in a

I haven't read the book yet, but I really liked his prequel novella, Unlocked. It's now available for free on Tor's website.

I was wondering if Miriam would pop up again. I do love a good revenge narrative, even if it's not plausible.

Yeah, I thought about Prurnell but I don't want to have to do a retread of the whole convincing the FBI Hannibal's a bad guy thing again. Though maybe a house full of (potential) corpses will be enough to do that.
