After violating the conditions of his release, it’s nice to see he’s finally learning about personal responsibility and consequences. Mainly, that his current situation is totally the fault of the lawyers he hired who weren’t able to get him off.

Money well spent amirite
Indeed, i believe it was paid for by alums and parents of alums of St. Paul’s. He’s not actually a rich kid, but that doesn’t mean he hadn’t become accustomed to the life style of his rich friends.
Thank you for posting this. I knew that they revamped his image so the one that I always see (black hair with glasses) wasn’t his real one.
I feel so awful for Chessy. I cannot imagine having to face going through another trial with this piece of shit. Also the clear knowledge that he has no remorse and likely never will.
“...one of Labrie’s lawyers, Jaye Rancourt, said that Labrie’s out-of-state team mishandled the case.”
This is how my dog looks at cat poo.
Damien Chazelle knew damn well that his movie didn’t deserve. He already got an award that wasn’t his.
Damien Chazelle is in his early 30's. He’s got a whole career ahead of him to win multiple Oscars. Chin up dude!
Meryl is always SO happy for anyone who wins, too. She’s got her accolades and acclaim, and she is just thrilled to see others get the same.
Taraji is always happy for other people to win:
Find yourself someone who looks at you like Lin Manuel Miranda looks at everybody.
Neither guy deserved any Oscar accolades. Many Black women hated Birth of a Nation for its unnecessary rape scene so theres that.
THIS THOUGH
The fact that Casey was lauded while Nate Parker (a Black man) was shoved aside this year smacks of white privilege. Same goes for Woody Allen, Mel Gibson and Roman Polanski vs Bill Cosby. I hate all of them but the double standard is fucking ridiculous
Oh so he was just method acting his way into sexual assault, okay. That makes it fine, he’s just really, really professional.
I would say that it doesn’t mean that he is guilty either. The interesting thing in this instance is that one of the women had worked with Affleck for years and not had issues with him until this movie, where the line between real and fake were blurred and where the whole point of the whole movie was to be fucking…
there was an out-of-court settlement with both accusers, so the charges were dismissed. I’d assume that both women signed non-disclosure agreements in exchange for a hefty financial settlement, which doesn’t mean Affleck is innocent.
He settled out of court. With two different victims. 🤔
