Made in Abyss is one of the best anime I do not recommend. If I knew how fucked up it was I probably would not have watched it but now that I have I have no choice but to continue.

tl;dr 10/10 great anime don’t watch it.

This thing is satellite to satellite communication, not satellite to ground users. Yes, some satellites do talk to other satellites, but this seems to be an effort to define a standard and technology so that multiple users can use this cross-link system.
