No clue.

They’re aggressive to the point that police say they refuse people who turn them down for help.”

Remind me why there is a desire to drop a car that is paid off just because you have to pay for normal maintenance? US materialism and privilege at its finest.

Suddenly someone walks up to you, demanding that you let them help you pump your gas”

Or learn a bit about the car and find a good local Audi mechanic (not one at the stealership). There are plenty of Audi forums (Audizine, for example) where OP can learn about possible issues and ways to mitigate them.

I get it - an out of warranty Audi is a pricey proposition. The plastic pieces fall apart if you look at them wrong, the usual issues.

It’s fully paid off

FOR KING AND COUNTRY!!!

“the company believes it offers alternatives with the Maverick hybrid as well as the F-150 plug-in hybrid and F-150 Lightning EV.”

Red Baron is surprisingly legit for the low price. The “Fully Loaded” was a disappointment though, “Original is” the way to go. If I feel like a fancier one, I usually go store brand, they’re surprisingly decent.

Industry in the US is a lot more powerful (e.g. politicians in their pocket). They can evade, delay, or block any meaningful regulation. Even when there is regulation, Congress makes it pretty toothless so it doesn’t harm their pocket.....uh, their constituents.

In industrial accidents, fault isn’t really the answer. It’s what can be done better next time.

2005? man, you americans are really late on this...

I’m going to be honest, Palermo’s pizza is kind of meh. the real goat of the frozen pizza aisle is Red Baron which also happens to be fairly cheap in comparison to most frozen pies. (rising crust is also pretty over-rated)

That’s true, paying someone $1,000 to get your application to the top of the stack is not nepotism.

The current method of healthcare delivery in the US couldn’t be more inefficient if we tried. I don’t think a national health system is the way to go for a lot of reasons, but fully agree that decoupling health benefits from employment and forcing insurers to compete for individual customers would go a long way.

I prefer aggression without the passivity.

Sure. Rote tasks that are mainly muscle memory go better with a little music, but when you have to concentrate it becomes time to turn that stuff off. When I ran kitchens, prep time called for some good tunes to keep the flow going, but once service began the music went off.

What is this healthcare you speak of? Millions of American have none. Millions of working Americans. They can’t even afford AMA.
