Houston is one hellofa food city.  Mainly because of all the international workers in oil and gas who have at some point spent a few years there as they moved up the ladder and changed companies.

There are so many Mexican restaurants with that name you could be talking about almost any city in the US.

That’s a common story. Start with a food truck because the start up cost is low. When you get the recipes dialed in, build a client base, and build up enough money or business history to get a loan, move to a brick and mortar place.

Well, “Mexican” (any food from south of the US/Mexico border is Mexican to most people in the US) food is tasty, relatively easy to prepare (in most cases), filling, and cheaper than other cuisines.

Once they work out more of the kinks and come up with a way to avoid having the copper cable stolen, likely no more than there are non-functioning fuel pumps at any gas station.

Most days, people will not need to plug back in until they get back home. Most EVs have sufficient range to get to and from work with the usual on the way home errands.

It will take a shift in our habits. Instead of merely parking our vehicle at home, we’ll need to start to park and plug when we get home. Same at work, if there are enough chargers available.

IMO, Carl’s Jr is possibly the best FF chain of the national ones. The fried zucchini is just so good. And I get their waffle fries rather than the regular fries.

I looked it up.  The combined pre-cooking weight was 1/3 lbs of beef.  And yes it was better.

If I’m going to Carl’s Jr, I’m getting a Super Star with Cheese.  It’s my favorite FF burger.
