Reason 11: bad water.

Either you just don’t like coffee at all, or you haven’t found the right roast from the right roaster.  I’m betting on the first.

I encourage you all to find your local sandwich shop, if possible. It may take a bit of searching, but you’re likely to find something better than any of the major chains.

The juice of a lemon or lime wedge will counter the chlorine taste in most municipal water systems. If you get water at a restaurant that’s not great, ask for some lemon. It helps tremendously.

Based upon my understanding of chemistry (I have a degree in it), that’s B.S.  The acidity of lemon juice is enough to attack your enamel significantly, but the pH of lemon water is little different from tap water.
