Here in the states, Adult Swim’s anime lineup in the early 2000's had a lot to do with it gaining popularity here. But at that point the show would have only been about 5 or so years old.
I tired to show my mom the anime once, even connecting it to a show she was really into at the time, but she could have been less interested. Now, she started watching the live action unprompted of her own free will. Not everyone has the stomach for anime.
I have never seen the point of live action adaptations of anime. Just watch the anime! That is how the story was meant to be told.

Law enforcement groups don’t work with these groups because most of the cases would probably get thrown out over evidentiary issues and entrapment laws. Of course employers don’t need to hold to those kind of high standards.
