She is a really bad public speaker, isn’t she? Flat, dead delivery. Staring at her notes, reading them verbatim.

More than a happy ending- it showed humans trying to find their best selves, building the best world they could, and while that world still involved conflicts, it was their essential humanity that allowed them to overcome that conflict.

With growth of private prisons and the rollback of labor protections, I’m sure we can get rid of prison guard unions.

I think a large part of it was that Disney’s output through the sixties and seventies was just godawful. In the 60s, they churned out a series of largely forgettable live-action comedies, and in the 70s were almost entirely a made-for-TV studio with a few major features that mostly bombed.

SWAT Kats is not a shitty show. It’s not anything that rises to the “you have to see this,” level of great, but it wasn’t shitty.

Man, I was really hoping that you were going to say things that made me excited for the game, but… I hate gathering resources. Stardew Valley was an exercise in frustration and it felt like having a goddamn job.

Pittsburgh’s metro area has a little over a million people, and if they don’t all turn out to star this comment, then Pittsburgh has failed America.

What are you talking about? Trump loves decorum, he buys the best decorum, it’s usually gold plated decorums, or sometimes paintings of himself that he puts in gold frames, and he’ll use those for decorumation.

I feel like the problem there, though, is that their employer doesn’t compensate them properly for their time, and then expects the customer to supplement the wages. There’s a trend of “no tipping” restaurants, and I think it’s a good trend.

I haven’t played this game, but… aren’t you supposed to explore every nanometer of the dungeon? What if you miss something?

I liked Mount & Blade, crap graphics and all.

It’s weird, because blade-length is perfect longsword, but the crossguard and grip are clearly zweihander-sized.

What are you talking about? If you miss what you’re aiming at, bullets harmlessly evaporate and do no damage to anyone. Haven’t you ever seen a movie!

The theme is great, all the music is great, but the music for the final shootout is just THE BEST. It’s a perfect example of how music elevates film.

Partially true. Swingline had made a compact red stapler in the tot-50 size prior to the 80s (source: my mom had one from when she was younger, putting it sometime in the 60s or possibly 70s). They were not making any red staplers at the time the movie was filmed, however.

Usually, I just don’t bother. It’s not so much laziness, as lack of care. The day I posted this comment, I was in an unusually snarky mood, so I went the extra mile to complain. It’s just… unless the review makes a game sound utterly amazing, why should I put any extra effort into it? It’ll either show up on one of

It doesn’t have to be a store site- as they edited the article to link to the publisher site. I just want a goddamn link, is all. Something. They put all this work into writing the article, why not take the extra ten seconds to make the article extra useful by giving me quick access to useful resources to find out

I’m sorry, it’s a common gripe I have with Kotaku reviews, and I finally just released the snark that I’ve been pretty good about resisting. Links are always a good thing! If I want to know more, I can find out more!

“Available for Switch (played), PC, and Mac, but I’m not going to give you a link to anything so you can find out more about the game. I’m sure you’ll just assume it’s on Steam, and why would I send you to the store page?”
