It doesn’t have to be a store site- as they edited the article to link to the publisher site. I just want a goddamn link, is all. Something. They put all this work into writing the article, why not take the extra ten seconds to make the article extra useful by giving me quick access to useful resources to find out

I really wish I could, put into words, why she annoys me so much, but I’m with you. It’s like, nothing personal- she seems like a nice person who is really into the things she’s into. But anything I see her in, I just can’t take it. I really wish I could come up with a reason. I’ve had this problem since Legend of

I’m sorry, it’s a common gripe I have with Kotaku reviews, and I finally just released the snark that I’ve been pretty good about resisting. Links are always a good thing! If I want to know more, I can find out more!

“Available for Switch (played), PC, and Mac, but I’m not going to give you a link to anything so you can find out more about the game. I’m sure you’ll just assume it’s on Steam, and why would I send you to the store page?”

Says the guy who’s been in the Trenton Home for the Criminally Insane for the past 50 years. You do know that you were so horrible that the orderly who cared for you went on to become a hitman who worked for drug kingpins?

The guy smarter than Oliver Queen is not exactly the most precise descriptor you could come up with. Name a character dumber than Oliver Queen, and I’ll be impressed.

I am just loving the typography on this film.

Crates, man, crates.

Hunh. Way back in the Before Times, I made a mod for Quake II that did this, though with far less polish (I just swapped models and skins, otherwise it was regular deathmatch).

Carnage: for folks who thought Venom wasn’t edgy and RADICAL enough.

That’s all I got from it, yes. That’s basically nothing. And also, I’m not sure they’re secret space agents.

No, I don’t know anything about who the protagonists are. I know what they look like, and that one of them is named Valerian, and they’re some sort of agents for something. I’m not looking for the plot to be spoiled, but I want to know what the film is about beyond vague “there’s a threat to our space place that’s

I think it looks potentially interesting, but it looks like the plot’s a mess. Now, this could just be shitty marketing, but your basic trailer edit should live me with a pretty clear idea of who the main character is, what obstacle they’re about to overcome, and at least a sense of why.

Wolverine was once thrown into the sun. He got better.

Firing somebody for being an asshole seems like a completely reasonable thing to do. If you spend your time rubbing up against assholes, some of that smell is gonna stick to you.

No, but if I were remaking it, I’d want to lean into the tropes and idioms that defined it, not try and avoid them. Or, to put it another way: it’s about teenagers with attitude who beat up mud monsters and pilot giant robots. Emoting shouldn’t be high up on the list of priorities.

Well, wait a second, if Power Rangers used masks to conceal the origins of the footage, why did the original footage use masks? Practically, sure, it’s because the stunt performers and the actors weren’t the same people. But I think there’s a valid artistic reason for it too- several.

Actors have their entire fucking bodies to use for emoting. Send them to a Commedia workshop, a few weeks before you start shooting the scenes where they’re in costume.

I haven’t watched any of Powerless, but I’m just glad to see Natalie Morales getting more work in superhero comedy. Why? Don’t ask me, I’m just the Middleman.

Whitepeopleing is the privilege and dismissive confidence that you have not only the right but also the permission to do whatever the fuck you want.
