So, I could get more mileage out of MST3K classic Master Ninja, parts I and II?

Honestly, I think the biggest problem was the giant army of disposable ninjas that existed to get mowed down pointlessly. DD1 had a lot of very intimate, personal stakes fights. It was its biggest strength. The back half of DD2 had none of that. Just boring ninja fights that I couldn’t give less of a damn about.

I’d argue Daredevil S2 is a very clear reason not to give it a shot. And also the pacing issues that happen in every goddamn one of these series.

No, it’s more like judging a book by its expensive marketing campaign (which tells you what the publisher thinks the book’s selling points are- presumably they’re marketing the best bits), the critical reviews (by people who are familiar with the medium, the genre, and have experience providing useful critiques on

And Rory schooled George Washington on what it means to be an American. And then a few episodes later, they fucking go to Camelot and Sarah Lance macks on Guenevire… a lot. And yes, they make that pun. LoT isn’t smart, but it’s fun.

The only people who react like that to the Smurf’s movie are the executives who greenlit it while doing a rail of cocaine large enough you could send a transcontinental train along it.

From what I understand, Matthew Waterhouse was a kid who was a huge fan of the show, and basically acted the way a kid who’s a huge fan of a show would when suddenly they’re thrust into making the show, only to discover that it’s a lot of work and not nearly as fun as it looks from the finished product. I personally

You are either lying, or you’re a “Chinese Room” scenario, where you can manipulate symbols to create meaningful sentences, but have no understanding of what you’re saying.

It’s not the case that all conservatives are Nazis, but they certainly do seem to side with Nazis a lot…

Now, I’ve never been a minority, but I would suspect that if you feel that you are “the other”, say, because you’re a minority in a media culture that exists to please the majority, any sort of representation that acknowledges your existence must be satisfying. It feels like being part of society instead of something

Socialist policies are actually very popular, if you don’t call them socialism.

I shall be That Guy™.

They’ll gut the economy, drive the middle class into crippling debt, and then just let people sign up for the military because it’s the only option they’ve got at this point. That’s how we fight wars these days.

I found the battle system in Transistor really boring. Better than Bastion, where there was no system and if you just clicked a bunch you could beat any challenge, but still not great. They seem to be really good at designing all the parts of a game but the game part.

“Snark” implies sarcasm or a lack of conviction- this is an honest assessment. It looks terrible. The presentation here looks so bad that the cost of the time taken to download it, let alone play it, seems overpriced.

This looks… really bad. This looks like cheap, pre-purchased assets enslaved to an artistic vision that views being accessible as a sin.

Or whatever the male version of sploosh is, which I guess is still sploosh.

I actually like the host segments- and honestly, I think the production value and humor of the Sci-Fi era sketches were overall better (there were only a handful of invention exchanges that I feel worked). Their musical numbers were always top notch.

I… I would watch Graboids Take Manhattan.
