Vivaldi also doesn’t let me log into my Kinja account. So… that might be its killer-app feature, right there.

Oh, it looks like saved sessions is their approach to that. Not a perfect fit for my workflow, but it does the job.

Here’s the feature I need that I can’t seem to find in Vivaldi: open all bookmarks in a single folder with one click.

I am not particularly nuanced on this front: a project that has a “crunch” phase is a failed project. Whether that’s a failure of budgeting, planning, management, or technical expertise, you have failed to run an effective project. Period.

Which one’s the monkey?

Sanders’ timid, isolationist foreign policy isn’t great, but it’s vastly better than Clinton’s neo-con foreign policy. Based on her tenure as a Senator and Secretary of State, based on comments like how she takes advice from Kissinger, I’m pretty confident in saying that a vote for Clinton is a vote for war. A

Like I said- we should actively be looking to cast non-whites in roles that they’re not traditionally cast in. That’s the goal. Not forcing our modern ideas of race on historical periods. What I’m really arguing is for colorwashing.

Frankly, the only good things in Highlander are the soundtrack and Clancy Brown.

I am not a gun.

I don’t believe in human consciousness. I am human, and I have never had a conscious thought.

Going to the moon itself was a spinoff program from the ballistic missile program.

That might be slow and leisurely to you. But a ray of light could cross our entire galaxy in about 100,000 years. That’s nothing! That’s about the same length of time that modern humans have existed for, and that’s only if we’re being generous.

You don’t think a crash-project focusing on miniaturization and weight of electronics will have any spinoff benefits? Really?

An “entire generation”? So what? Who cares? That’s a goddamn eyeblink. But we’re not talking about interstellar colonization, which is a pipe dream (humans would never survive the trip, our eggs are stuck in one basket, suffer- if you want to build a starship, start working on how to turn the solar wind into vectored

There’s the technology we need to build to send it- and its spinoffs. There’s the possible scientific discoveries that come from the mission itself.

If it doesn’t have Enrico Colantoni, I’m not sure what the point would be. EVERY show should have Enrico Colantoni.

April 27th? Normally, I let my own birthday pass without comment because I’m really not into celebrations, but… more Squirrel Girl is the best birthday present.

Up until 9/11/01, this was sort of the normal response to hijackings. The flight diverts someplace exotic, you sit on the tarmac for a few hours, get to know your flight crew and your neighbor, and then everybody continues on their trip. Back in the 70s hijackings were so common that they didn’t even make the news

Worse: they’re making it slower paced than the comic. Pretty much the only thing I was hoping they kept was the frenetic energy of the comic.

Look, I fucking love stupid action movies. Crank is a goddamn fucking masterpiece of film. John Wick is fantastic, despite the endless need to remind us of the inciting event, just in case we forgot.
