Well, the important thing is that Sam Worthington has something to do for the next several years. Good for him.

You know, Hollywood, the last time you tried to do a live action adaptation of a cartoon with a female protagonist, we ended up with Aeon Flux. Are you sure this is what you want to be spending your money on?

Go home Warner Bros., you're drunk. Like, repeatedly. I think you might have a problem.

Stop trying to be nostalgic about Empire Records, Internet!

Mynd you, møøse bites Kan be pretti nasti…

Awful lot of effort being put towards protecting a corpse, eh Onion Knight?
Ugh, my only hope is that when Jon is eventually resurrected on the show, there won't be a flurry of interviews immediately after with everyone involved looking smug and self-satisfied because they 'fooled' us.

Lucasfilm has been wary about mixing martial arts with Star Wars ever since Masters of Teras Kasi.

I was wondering if that was her. That's great they brought her in again.

Nope. They stole the plans for the second death star.

Or Puerto Rico for that matter. It's a U.S. territory, not a country!

Good lord Squall's insufferable. I could almost appreciate him if he weren't the main character. But i have to filter my whole experience through an unsociable dork.
I tend to like Cloud a lot more. Despite what his general characterization has been since Advent Children, Cloud while occasionally mopey was a fun

I think it had something to do with DC wanting to stick with original incarnations of superheroes (i.e. no legacies). So Hal Jordan but not Jon Stewart. Which is weird anyways since Jon Stewart is arguably the best known GL for mainstream culture at this point because of the long running Justice League cartoons.
Well,

Welp, I see that DC has moved on to the 'Desperate Flopsweat' phase of their plan for the DCU. 'Oh, you don't want our movies to be grim and incoherent? No, no. the next ones will be funny, we swear! Just keep buying tickets!'

I'm right there with you on that. Though I hope this ends up being it's grimdark equivalent. Too much of a certain tone, loopy plotting, too many characters, etc.

Mmf, keep in mind Batman and Robin also had an awesome opening weekend.

Overload. Pleasure overload. Thing I didn't even know I wanted is gonna exist.

I'd laugh so hard if this movie pulled a Pitch Perfect 2 and took the number 1 spot from BvS. It won't. But I can always dream.

God, doesn't a Kevin Smith written Jon Peter's Production of a Tim Burton Superman/Batman movie sound vastly more interesting right about now?

The man behind both Darth Maul and Brian Butterfield. Hnnnnnng—I can't wait.

See. This is a sensible proposal that could make everyone happy. Too bad Paramount just seems to have a burning, seething dislike for the franchise's fanbase.
