The Simpsons already made this joke when they posited him starring in a hacky sitcom called Talk To The Hand. Marge heard good things, though.
Anyone else think the BatPod is probably a better vehicle for him? I admit it's sacrilege, but at least he wouldn't be a huge target, or get caught in any traffic jams. How's he supposed to have operated in secret for years with that thing?
At least they're not referencing something that will instantly date itself. The Others came out maybe 10 years ago? Plenty of time for people to at least remember that it was a thing, and hopefully, have the writers mine good bits from the premise.
There's also nothing indicating that they weren't occupied either. At least in the Avengers there's some establishment that they're trying to save people. Just a little scene or two. That'd be fine.

So I guess this means Uncle Dudley popping up isn't entirely off the table.
Couldn't we have just had a Fall Movie Preview feature? These two ill-defined characters confuse and infuriate me.
Get some Chairface Chippendale up in it and I think we'll be in business. I fear that Dinosaur Neil might be too much to ask for, though.

Yes, this should provide adequate sustenance for the Doctor Who marathon.
Boy, that 'they're comic books, not drama books!' Schumacher crack must be like Warner Bros.' 'Never Forget' or something.
Futurama did it. More or less.
Kunk! Kunk! Smash the beetles!
The only unkillable character is clearly Ser Pounces, All Hail Pounces, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men!
