Christopher Lee didn’t generally play badasses, but he was one hell of a real life badass.

Since she announced her intentions on social media, bringing attention to herself would appear to be the fucking point. And no, it didn't distract me, because I do not give a shit about soccer.
(based on the picture I see with this story) to keep her from grandstanding by kneeling by herself in front of her teammates so that all 27 fans in attendance are sure to see her.
Not any more than she did. She’s entitled to protest if she’d like, but nobody’s obligated to give her a platform on which to do it.
Which is funny because Walking is an Olympic sport.
Hey, gotta make sure you’ve got room for modern pentathlon.
With NBC’s television coverage you would think they did.
Better tell that to every high school and college in the U.S. They’ve been letting these fakers set up shop in their athletics departments for decades.
Jeah-ghazi.
Goats will eat almost anything
The issue is not that your “knowledgeable about it” (though, 90% of your comments have contained no actual facts, just feelings, but okay), it’s the sheer number of comments and the intense personal offense you seem to take to all of them.
The UFC is the #1 sport for guys who couldn’t make their high school football…
Thank you for the judo/Kayla coverage Barry. I am actually related to her coach Jimmy and know just how much it means to see her succeed, not only in life alone, but at the highest level her sport offers.
Oh yeah, because Bronze is totally better than Gold.
Man, you are really really really obsessed with defending the MMA on here. This is like your 10th comment on this post about it dude. Do you work for the MMA? Did the MMA give you a kidney? Save your mom?
Also, just logically, the fact that an opponent being rude at the end of a match is headline news pretty much…
The UFC literally created a division around Rousey because of her looks. She did her part and dominated it, but literally the only reason it existed was looks.
But, that goes to her second point. The Diaz brothers and McGregor (not to mention Chael Sonnen) all got where they are because they talk shit. UFC matchmaking has largely become about look and style, and not about skill.
And thanks to NBC for completely glossing over her amazing win yesterday. I guess everyone knowing exactly how long Phelps had to rest before swimming in a semifinal was too crucial to miss.
I did Judo for a couple years, and loved it. I didn’t compete but they explained the scoring to us. All I remember was basically if you get a good enough throw and the dude lands flat on his back = 100 points and a win (Ippon) . Tapout = Ippon. Good but not great throws = 10 points (waza-ari) and a decent throw = 1…
I can't believe I'm saying this, but judo looks like it's freaking awesome.
Although it was scheduled early, I’m glad I caught judo yesterday. It was awesome to watch. Those fighters are certifiable badasses.
