Having been born when I was, I have really good nostalgic memories of Sugar Ray. All of their hits are really enjoyable, or at least inoffensive.

I agree. Personally, I think states are altogether a largely outdated concept in the era we live in.

I think the series also worsened as it went through the time-honored sitcom process of getting more ridiculous as it went on, because early seasons benefited from an earnestness and identifiability that I feel later ones lost.

Saw someone mention How I Met Your Mother, and that's actually a great answer to the question, but not just because of the finale. Now that I'm a bit older, I have trouble imagining finding Barney's SUPER-creepy and misogynist actions cute or funny. He literally sold a woman… and that's a joke on the show. No thanks.

I feel the opposite. To me, chicken requires special preparation or other ingredients to be worth eating, while turkey is always flavorful and delicious.
