I’d almost guarantee that if the memory cards became affordable or even non-proprietary, the Vita would be in a very different place right now. In fact it is because of the cards that I haven’t yet bought one. I still can’t believe no one has come up with an adapter for normal cards to work in these.

No mentioning that this looks like to be pretty much the last real handheld generation? With the switch on the horizon, I really doubt Nintendo will ever bother to have 2 seperate systems again, and it already has no direct competition by that point.
