Seems germane:

It is worth bearing in mind that the sample size is very low; with only 35 reviews so far I wouldn’t put too much stock in what the percentage score is, although I would like for common, specific complaints in the written reviews.

All the stars.

Secular Sobriety

Which is baffling since they have no proof of efficacy and there are good arguments that they cause more harm than good.

Actually, the best part would be 35,000 people not dying annually.

I am currently obsessing over Stellaris, so I’m glad to see more of that type of game. I really like all of the Endless games, although I had the hardest time getting into Endless Space; the card-based combat system made it very unpalpable to play, along with a number of other issues. I think that Endless Legend was

I apologize; it was called REDMAP.

When the Census was taken in 2010 the GOP utilized a program they developed called Red State to optimally draw all of the district lines to maximize Republican seats. Certainly this sort of thing has been done previously by both parties, but never by utilizing computer technology that exaggerated the effect so

One of the key components of this ability would already be variable density since the mass of a human body would have to be compressed into the space of an ashtray, to use an example from the article. It would also need some way of actually displacing mass as well, otherwise you end up with a 200 lbs. ashtray.

That’s hilarious. Thanks, you made my Monday morning.

Or at least people tripping over each other in a panting lust to tell someone they are wrong, not even bothering to check the dozen or so that had already made the same comment.

I’m confused about the title; is it suppose to be about this picture? It looks like it is intended to be a zweihander, so it isn’t really incorrectly sized, except maybe that it is a little small.

Ah. No, at least not for me in the sense that I couldn’t get into it because of the gameplay.

I am probably simply misremembering the details, but I found the game highly unsatisfying, which is merely coming out in an absurd anecdote. The whole of DoW2 is leading around a small unit of heroes that you level and equip, making it more like an RPG although it lacks many of the features that make RPGs appealing.

Watched both; the narrator seems as though he was really taken with Dark Crusade when it came out and used his nostalgia for that to grade Soulstorm against. Many of his comments on Soulstorm seem nitpicking more than anything else, some pointing out the absurdity of the 40K setting which should be turned on all of

Huh?

It has been a long time but a lot of my dislike came from going in expecting an RTS and finding a hero party game. The story ran together for me but the last thing I remember was having Terminators being killed by some Boyz so it might have been that mission; I remember getting nowhere, seeing those Terminators go

If I recall correctly, I purchase DoW1, played through it, and came back to it when Dark Crusade released. Played Dark Crusade, enjoyed it, and didn’t play again until much later, after Soulstorm had been out for a while. I’m not much concerned about the ratings; not something I pay any real attention to but I suspect
