Soulstorm is a lot better and, in my mind, the peak of the DoW franchise, at least so far.

I find this review and others I’ve read encouraging as they seem to be saying that Relic has, for DoW3, corrected all of the horrific mistakes that made up DoW2, keeping the vanishingly few good ideas and returning to the warm bosom of its RTS roots.
