neither one makes sense to me when looking at the missions they'd fly. Canada is huge and their most likely role would be long range interception of Russian or even Chinese bombers. Wouldn't an Eagle make more sense? The F-15SA is a more viable, capable and proven option in my mind.

I still maintain my stance that the US government should have killed off the F-35 in favor of developing the F-22 into a more versatile platform.
