They don't have to fight to the death in trial by combat. One of the champions can always yield.

Myle's review is more aimed towards experts than any of Todd's reviews, I would recommend that newbies steer clear.

I'm guessing (hoping) that the show-showdown is with Aliser Thorne instead of Slynt.

Couldn't they just introduce her through the Brotherhood, like with Thoros of Mhyr?

Brienne won't meet LS until S5 but we will!
She might, however, meet some Freys swinging from trees.

More like, ambiguously alive. But alive, yes.

UnCat better be introduced at the end of this season. However, her role in the books so far has been pretty minimal, so they could invent a lot of action for her and Brienne next season before catching up. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they had to dip into TWOW material mid-season 5 for those characters.

I know people have been saying this but I don't get why. Sure Mel is bad news but can't she see a future for someone that doesn't involve a fiery death? And even if she couldn't, does it make sense for her to then inform the mother?

Or he could be another Lord of Light Zombie

It doesn't make sense that they would keep Braavos (and the Dreadfort) and not include the Eyrie.

They're probably saving it for next season, to put the Iron Islands succession issue into play. Hopefully they do the kingsmoot!

This is the best review I've read all season. Loved the nuanced approach with foreshadowing.

On the contrary, I think the only reason they included the Yara storyline in Sunday's episode was to remind viewers the Yara exists, so that her plotline and the Ironborn story will be more relevant next season (I hope).

So, is the only thing that makes this review for experts the 'here be spoilers' part, labeled very clearly, at the very end?

OK, how about the Lannisters forced her to testify on pain of death and she didn't feel like dying for a guy whose last words to whore were "you are a whore"?

Yes it's called GUEST RIGHT and it's a very big deal in Westeros, obvi!

It's as if he knows nothing.

True, but I think GoT adds another level to it since it's a fantasy.
