Before Starfield, before Skyrim, before Fallout 3 and Oblivion, before your parents even knew how to make you, there was The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall.”

The original PS1 (pre-5501) had a problem where the laser lens got too hot over time and warped. Many at the time resorted to trying to wrap the system in a towel or turning the system onto its top in order to play games (I watched a game dealer at the old Antique Mall at Southland Mall, in South Columbus OH, do this)

Agreed, but that didn’t happen to me so I can only speak for myself. In any case, it’s certainly better than what Sony did back in the day with the early PS1. Thye just quietly fixed the problem without acknowledging that they had a problem, and certainly didn’t offer replacements to its customers who were affected.

The Xbox One X also had 4k. I replaced my original model Xbox One with that earlier this year, and it looks great on my 4k TV.

True. My original 360 (a Core bought in April 2006...and I was lucky to even find the Core) started having problems with RROD in 2008, and all it took was MS sending me a box and return label, then after sending mine in, they replaced it. No muss, no fuss.

“Give ‘em an inch”, and all that :)

Being a fan of both shooters and classic animation, I could really go for this...of course, since I’ll be 63 when this releases, guess it could be a “boomer shooter” in more ways than one :)

Ads are annoying for the most part (looking at YOU, YouTube) but the idea of 30 seconds of ads in exchange for the use of their service doesn’t sound terrible. I quit both MS and Sony’s services because I wasn’t getting what I wanted for the relatively high prices they charge. (I do pay $50 for Nintendo’s service for

(Sigh) Oh well, if I get that nostalgic for E3, at least I still have these :)

This sounds nice if you’re rich enough to afford the original media, in which case you’d be rich enough to buy this machine. Years ago (as in, very early 2000s) I had an original Turbo-16, and maybe 7 games for it. At the time, that was all I could find for it and eventually, around 2007 I traded it all off. Kinda

You’ve used up 14:59 of your “fame”. Use the final second wisely.

Frankly I’d love to see a playable Zelda in a mainline Zelda game. I see no sense in the current day to limit oneself to “save the princess”. How about both Zelda and Link work together to take out Ganon? Badprenup IMO has a great idea for that in an earlier comment.

Very nice. Now if they’d only put out even a remastered version of Skies of Arcadia....or Last Bronx.

Of course as usual Arkham Origins is the red-headed stepchild of the bunch. But then again, if they had ported that one from the PC as well, it would have been a mess. Granted, I beat it on PC but not without a glitch-ridden fight, especially with Killer Croc.

Heh, I have the original one for PC (with the Peter Criss cover), and a demo for the Dreamcast. Wasn’t great IMO, but it was very definitely KISS (I was a big fan of this group in the 7os when I was in high school).

Oh yeah. I only bought my 2DS XL when it came out in 2017 (launch), just as the system was receiving fewer and fewer games. Truth be told, I only bought it for ALBW because I loved ALTTP so much back in the day. Probably the biggest annoyance was how Nintendo announced the 3DS store (and the Wii U store) was closing

ALBW is one of the games I do wish would see a Switch port. I still have it for my 2DS XL, but it’s almost the only game I still occasionally play on the system.

“The sorcerer Yuga seeks to revive the series-staple villain Ganon, kidnapping Zelda and the Seven Sages to get the ritual going. To keep Link from foiling her plans, she imprisons him in a painting”

Ravio didn’t give you the option to buy stuff until later in the game, so you had to rent until then.

ALBW was a 3/2DS title, and IMO, one of the best Zelda titles.
