Wake me up when this person overtakes Bill Gates in philanthropy efforts instead of how much dirt she can buy.

Hold on, I’ll check this out just as soon as I put on my Sony BakeStation :)
Remember when Nintendo had their games that sold 1 million or more at $19.99 or $29.99, up to and including the Wii U and 3DS? Now that Switch has sold buckets you’d think they would bring that program back....but I guess they’re making too much money to care about that program anymore.
I know it sounds a little silly, but if you have a Redbox near you, you might be able to find a copy there (DVD or Blu-ray) for purchase, not rental, for $3.99. I know, it’s passe’ to actually watch physical media these days, but on the other hand, it’ll likely be there on your shelf if it gets taken off Netflix or…
How did we let $20 skins become a thing? For the same reason we let $499 consoles become a thing. Because people will pay it. No, I wouldn’t; $20 cosmetic items are useless to me. $20 means a decent game, whether on console or on PC for me.
...
I own the Atari 2600 version and the Intellivision version (which has an end boss in the form of a mothership). It’s actually more of a Phoenix clone in that, after a few waves the ships split into two and once you shoot one of those, the other will try and crash into you. The Intellivision version has more stuff, but…
I picked up my Wii U back in 2019 used for $129 (32GB), and even though Nintendo shut down the store (perish the thought they would have had their first party games on sale for it), I’ll never regret buying it.
Now, any chance they can discover the old Sierra/Monolith game No One Lives Forever 2 actually belongs to them now? Probably not, but one can wish the game could be remastered or remade...
Not to mention the old Imagic titles from the Atari 2600 era, like Demon Attack, Atlantis, Microsurgeon, etc. :)
Okay, now Microsoft...make a next-gen Demon Attack (Activision owns Imagic’s catalog) o_<
Oh yeah. To be honest, I would much rather to have had Conroy do Batman, just sound like a 55-year old Batman/Bruce Wayne. I thought Weller, while okay, just sounded too much like Robocop (or at least I thought so).
Granted, St Anger isn’t a great album; while IMO it’s listenable, it doesn’t have a memorable song on the whole album. The REAL stinker here is Lulu, a weird collab between Metallica and Lou Reed. Lou Reed’s a classic; Metallica is classic. Put together, it’s horrifying.
Yeah, pretty much why I dropped PS+ and XBL. I don’t play online, and the offered games just kept getting worse and worse (or I already had them). Most of the games I may be interested in eventually come down in price anyway, so why not be patient and wait until then?
If you want to find out for yourself (on a PC) the games, at least up to Legend and Anniversary, are frequently on sale for .97 each on GoG. Oh yes, and tank controls. Not a fan of tank controls.
Thanks for the link. Looks to be a Japanese release, but it’s a good price for that.
I sure would love to find Angel’s Egg on Blu-ray, but I don’t think any distributors here in the US have optioned it. Could be wrong, though.
Sheesh....shudder to think what FOX NEWBS would think of Ohio History Connection (a cool museum in Columbus dealing with Ohio History) having gender-neutral bathrooms...for the record, I have a membership to that place.
I used to watch this until I found out how the manga ended. Not interested in fascism, yay.
I noted on their website that they also require (not recommend) an SSD. So if the players having problems are trying to run it off an HDD, then they need to look into getting an SDD.
