I don't see the point in sending her to prison for something she didn't mean to do. It costs taxpayers money and serves no purpose. Prison should be reserved for people likely to harm others again. This woman will not likely make the same mistake. A more fitting punishment would be taking away her license.

Actually, the speed limit was 90 km/hr which roughly equates to 55 mph which means he was going somewhere between 23 and 39 km/hr over the speed limit. The law must be different in Canada, because in the US, I think (I might be wrong) the motorcyclist would be at fault, rear ending a car no matter how slowly it was traveling.
