I think if everyone had settled into the 'Dougie, not Dale Cooper' idea and not been just 'waiting' for the 'real' Cooper, they'd have appreciated it more. It makes so much sense as a choice now that we've seen how it's panned out.

Sometimes Naomi Watts has the sort of overacting-with-the-face going on that silent film actors had, but I actually love that about her.

There's nothing you could say as a defense for why, despite thinking it's so terrible, that you would have watched it for 12 hours and will presumably watch the last 6. It makes no sense unless you hate yourself.

In a usual predictable show, that's exactly what it would be leading to.. but it seems like they always avoid doing the thing you're expecting.

The.. odd.. appearance and behavior of her husband certainly made the scene sit a little stranger than it otherwise would have.
