I'm amazed Piper Laurie is still alive, and that they didn't find a way to shoehorn her into the return. Especially because she was probably the most recognized actress (won a Golden Globe and got an Emmy nomination for the role)

Edit: idiocy
EvilCoop raped comatose Audrey and the offspring is Richard Horne, creep and drug-runner.
I know I'm not the first to say so, but I do find it amazing that three different actors involved with the original run have died between filming and release of S3, as if they were waiting for the opportunity to appear before passing away.
You're correct - a few episodes ago, it ended with Coop and the statue with jazz music in the background.
and THEN the sweeping.
Yes. Poor decision I would say.
Andy does have a big bald spot. You can see it in an earlier episode I believe.
Seeing Andy's Rolex was a really 'huh?' moment. When you wardrobe an actor or dress a set on a large budget project, everything is chosen for a reason. So this was either literal product placement like Skype, or it's meant to be important - and like Emily says, unsettling in this context.
I saw someone say that the guy Andy goes to talk to is Richard Horne's father - was that just a guess or is that said/implied in the scene and I missed it?
"On the other hand, if she's still in a coma, that could explain why Sherilyn Fenn was so pissed on twitter."
Okay I'll buy that.
It's especially funny to me because as a fan watching the original series, hearing the way Cooper talked to her, you pictured this sort of Coop-like wholesome middle-america gal, then she comes on screen in cougary clothes and hair saying 'fuck' a lot.
I totally agree. I think they made it intentionally awkward with there being no voice when talking to Harry, then immediately after you hear Doc Hayward's voice on the next call. Bam! I'm SURE they asked him to at least do some voice for it. What a dick to not do it.
He wasn't a creep at all in this episode was he?
She is REAL BAD. Especially in this one.
Sorry, yes. Doh.
I think he (Forster) is absolutely fantastic overall this season. His reaction shots to Wally Brando were nothing short of marvelous.
My random obs for this one:
Regarding people not quitting in Washington, I've spent a lot of time thinking about that. There seems to be an extremely high value put on political operatives who don't air dirty laundry in public, who are loyal, and who aren't quitters. It seems like people stay fairly quiet, leave quietly later on, and only…
