If I enter uninvited into someone's house to protect a thief, and I kill the homeowner in an attempt to protect the thief, then that's not justifiable homicide.

@Simba711:disqus is right. If I enter uninvited into someone's house to protect a thief, and I kill the homeowner in an attempt to protect the thief, then that's not justifiable homicide.
Yeah, I guess that is a huge win that he'll hopefully never be aware of so I guess he's still winning.
It would be more accurate to be more general and say that the show is more apt to portray women as shady and the men as moral. The role sex plays in their lives is just one aspect of their badness.
I'm just happy I can now make my "Winterbottom is Coming" meme and dub Asher Lord of the North. Also, in this Shondaverse, you can be bi. It could be both. I just hope Asher doesn't get too puppy dog over it.
I don't want Skye to get more screen time though because I don't want to get to worn out on the Skye and Father Skye and Ward internal conflict. I understand that the show has to address those issues, but I would prefer if Ward and Skye's father did their dance for a bit before they really got back to the forefront of…
The whole time Mikayla was on the phone I was thinking, "Hang up the phone and call the police." I didn't understand why she didn't think to do that and instead kinda stayed frozen on the phone with Wes.
Also, why does Asher have to get the 1 step forward (Winterbottom) and 2 steps back (no trophy) treatment. I'm…
Ward is fantastic. I like how it's taken on its own identity instead of the case of the week weak ass pseudo-Fringe thing it was doing before. This is baller and it makes me hope that they're going to borrow some of the stuff from the S.H.I.E.L.D. book with the underground city and the time/dimensional travel etc. I'm…
I don't think you're wrong to buy into the swings, but I think it's just a personal preference thing.
I don't disagree with this statement. However, I think the detective and Asher are easy characters to relate to. Asher is so wonderfully uncomplicated. I'm unsure of the detective's endgame, but he doesn't do a bunch of stupid shit or have wild character swings.
Agree. At the very least, I can't recall them being drawn in a way that made the height difference that distinct. When I search images from earlier seasons, there are times where I can see a height difference, but it also looks like it may be due to the angle of the shot. The other thing might be Korra's hair change.…
This show is dope.
that makes more sense. That's what I wondered, but I didn't really take time to look at Asami's shoes.
most people seem to buy the swings. I find them jarring, and that moment felt out of place for me. That's a moment that almost exists on its own and justifies itself. As a detail that we learn about Annalise, it didn't really do much for me, but it certainly could have been its own upworthy video.
I don't know why they had her use the word "major". She could have just said "I was pre-Med in college". Anyway, I would have never commented on that scene cuz movies and shows have that sort of laziness all the time. I only mentioned it as a more valid problem than the fact that she remembered something from college.
Obviously that's always been the case. I didn't think they decided to retcon Asami's height. Nevertheless, if you have the time, could you link me to one screen shot from before this season that has shown the height difference so clearly? I've been rummaging through google, and racking my brain, and I can't think of a…
there's a real unevenness to this whole show. That's just one example. They're supposed to be really good at their job and Annalise is supposed to be the best at what she does, but her superiority isn't on a Dr. House level. It seems like she really needs these students to win her cases, and sometimes it seems like…
if you look at this comment I made in response to her https://disqus.com/home/dis… you can see that she edited her comment to match the inoffensive version that I suggested.
I don't have a problem with saying that some are bad, but her previous comment suggested that they were definitively the worst type of upper…
Ugh, your rightness is so annoying.
