I posted this elsewhere, but there will certainly be crossover arcs between the two shows. There's also no reason they can't share supporting characters.

If they're going to be supporting characters, I don't see why they can't be on both. Plus we know without a doubt that there will be crossovers between the two shows. Maybe no more than a cameo in the first season, but I'm sure they'll have some true crossover arcs.

Booster Gold wouldn't do what he did at the end of the episode. Rip Hunter is enough a pragmatist to go around stabbing people in the past to preserve the future. Also H. Wells = H.G.
