With official Chromecast Audio Apps I have no lag, but with Chromecast Audio Stream (Windows) and Soundcast (Mac) I have lag up to 4 seconds, which is to long for me. Forget movies or games, its not possible at all - at least for me and I have 5Ghz Wifi in the same room as the Chromecast Audio.
