The overhead form is NOT crocheted, NOT knitted, and NOT woven—it’s a design made by stretching strands across an area, some of them overlapping. It would be bad enough to use one of those terms incorrectly (the differences are very basic and obvious), but to toss them out interchangeably is baffling.
