Adding to Rowen’s point... studios/labels don’t care if something will be harmful to the voice. If they want you to record, they want it RIGHT NOW, no excuses. The thought process they stick in your head is “well, there are always other singers who will push through... you don’t wanna lose the opportunity, do ya?”

I agree except about the studio scene. She could have been actually singing & they could have just turned up her prerecorded vocals. lol. You have no way of knowing.

You have to remember that at a studio, your sound engineer is there messing with the vocals the whole time... so like. Yes, she could have been listening…
