As a parent, I draw the line at helping to create a situation that would prompt my child to consider selling their body as a means of survival. Ejecting your daughter from her home and allowing her to be destitute is lazy, heartless, and should not be conflated with “love”.

My parents taught me just what it means to help until it hurts, and then give some more when I was not making the best decisions. I definitely intend to care that lesson forward.
