I do too. Plus, thank jeebus she finally gave birth. I am in agreement with the feeling that she has been pregnant for 147 years. A 10 lb. baby proves the point that she was overdone. JeebusSpeed Jessica - and let hubby get his junk cut if you think you are finally done. You passed a large watermelon through your

I don’t think YouTube is responsible for the abuse; if it wasn’t for the channel, this lady would probably have been beating her children for not making their beds or spilling juice or whatever. But the site gave her a way to make money by putting her kids to work with absolutely no oversight, and it does need to

I was thinking the same thing. Basically kids on monetized YouTube channels are child actors — they should get the same protections as any other child performer. We can’t stop people from abusing their kids, but we can at least make it harder for them to make money off of it.

The biggest concern here is the this woman was allowed to adopt seven children! They’re not Beanie Babies! How was that allowed?

Ugh. Those poor kids. I’m glad the daughter had the guts to report her mother to the authorities. You tube should not allow people to make money off their kids unless it can assure proper oversight, just like any other child labor. (Fat chance, I know, but worth mentioning)

About a decade ago my mom, in a burst of nostalgia, took our whole family to Disney World a few years ago.

About a decade ago my mom, in a burst of nostalgia, took our whole family to Disney World a few years ago. All of us kids are well into adulthood, but we went with it. Even with all of us being (nominally) adults, we still set a meeting place where we should all go if we were separated. Bless my mom’s heart, sometimes

Is this a new reality show SOBER HOUSE. Who are the other celebrity housemates?

During the time that Holmes decided to do this scam, there were LOADS of White* Silicon Valley bros poo-poohing college or secondary skilled training, basically saying that to make all this money all you needed to do is come up with a business plan and fake it; and then you could outsource the research/back office/

This stood out so much to me too. You got scammed man; just say you got scammed. You don’t need to come up with some kind of ridiculous genetic memory nonsense to go with it.

I have a naturally high pitched voice, and when I get myself worked up it gets higher and higher until I have to pause and reset because only dogs can hear it. Then I have my professional voice. It’s a little slower and slightly deeper than my natural voice, which is high southern valley girl. My daughter mocks me

When I was young (junior high? early high school?), and therefore shallow, I feel in like with a girl after about 5 seconds of hearing her speak in a really low voice. It was outside of my experience up to that point, and hit me like a ton of bricks.

That was the weirdest thing! Someone said it on the podcast, I wanna say it was the Stanford medical school prof who was like, people study biology and engineering and chemistry for decades before having a true scientific breakthrough but this person studies a year and change in undergrad but is suddenly a

An octave is a pretty massive shift for the human voice.

A couple of feminist friends took me to task for saying Holmes faked her voice. They said higher octaves don’t help women in the workplace, which I don’t argue with, and she only “lowered her voice an octave,” which in their minds wasn’t fake. I say she lowered it way TOO much, and that’s what makes it fake.

OMG I ate this up last night! Now I’m just waiting for the Jennifer Lawrence movie. I also recommend The Dropout podcast on Holmes, which is incredibly thorough and engrossing (there’s also a 20/20 documentary based on The Dropout, which I’ll be watching as soon as I can.)

Because sitting around, with no discernable skills, semi defending MJ and staring at her navel whilst being tattooed yet again while her parasitic grungy boyfriend spends her cash just doesn’t seem especially worthwhile.

I can’t even imagine having the concentration it must have taken to constantly lower her pitch, for years.

I don’t know how to tell people this without freaking them out, but lots of students don’t fill out their own applications. How do I know? I see their parents’ names on the applications with the students demographics. I see messed up SSN’s that belong to the parents. I see parents coming into the office needing to

I think if Olivia Jade has taught us anything, it’s that extremely wealthy young women don’t have to go to college if they aren’t into it.
