Yeah, that would have been money well spent at this point, my uncle used to own one and says he loved it. Hindsight is 20/20, though. I think I'd be fine with Scion if they made cars that weren't the FR-S that didn't suck, or maybe something with over 300hp.

I would happily throw away the Scion FR-S if it meant Toyota actually making enthusiast vehicles for a change. Besides, then I could have the new Toyota GT-86 which is far cooler, and totally different, since it isn't a Scion.

Have you driven one? It's not underpowered down low, but it has a disgustingly anemic top end. Meaty torque curves don't come from small NA engines, that's why god gave Subaru turbochargers. If you compare the FA to a naturally aspirated EJ20 (Their old 2L design), it gains direct injection, a higher compression

The engine doesn't suck (It's far more advanced and capable than the outgoing EJ), but without FI it's just a wheezy 2 liter 4 cylinder. Slap a quick spooling turbo on there and you have one hell of a setup.

Orlove probably signed some paperwork at some point that gave the towing company the leverage. I've never paid that much for a tow either, I think the most I've paid was 90 bucks.

Emergency rate. Middle of the night on some snowy backroads, it really makes sense in context.

Hello Bob and Tom.

I was just going to say "Fuck the police.", but that works too.

Another day, another reason to dislike the government.

Automatics sound like shit with loud exhausts.

That gif makes me dizzy.

What is this traction control everyone speaks of?

All thanks to Raphael Orlove's yellow journalism!

True definition is when the engine sits between the driver and the front axle, where as MR is when the engine sits between the driver and the rear axle. This is definitely front bias, especially when you consider where the engine sits and not the transmission.

FM = Front-mid

Sorry, I've been messing with composition.

Floormats and other causes have caused similar issues for many car companies.

"Unintended acceleration, I had to pull the emergency brake to avoid careening into that daycare."

I've always felt that parking like an asshole, especially at a storefront is a great way to draw the attention and ire of others and their keys or doors that you are so desperately trying to avoid.

Better have some good insurance to cover that.
