With the six speed and either powerplant, absolutely. Took a track ride in one of the V8 versions at Texas Motorsports Ranch, and my god, it was incredible. One of the most refined super-cars of my time.
Stop being so rational.
As much as I am an advocate of euthanasia, this is the pot calling the kettle black.
How come? I wouldn't pay for another man's offspring. The middle easterner in me is offended.
Crack pipe.
He ate his finger post-car jacking, I believe.
Agreed, this was incredibly disappointing.
Definitely glad the engine was cold, I almost cringed when I saw it.
They're awesome at sitting in rush hour traffic and saving gas, so I'll concede that point. But only a moron or a troll would attempt to make the argument that they are performance cars, and it shows a clear lack of understanding of the definition. They still are beige, you just have to realize that it isn't always a…
Burner account, troll detected.
I'd have a Vette for that money, definitely crack pipe.
Crown Vics are awesome because they're practically indestructible, and run until you sigh, wipe the tear from your eye, and bring out the shotgun.
I don't understand it in the slightest, either. I'd consider an automatic a deal-breaker for basically any automotive purchase I make, especially with classic cars.
That's pretty much exactly how I feel about it. I just really like having the final say on what gear I'm in, because whenever an automatic is hunting for a gear, it drives me crazy.
Well, I feel that when people attack manuals and have no clue how to use one themselves, they're keeping themselves willfully ignorant of one of the sides of a two-sided argument. If I hadn't driven painfully slow auto-manuals, I wouldn't be trying to say how much I dislike them.
I thought that was a stupid quip myself. I learned to drive stick on the first car I drove, and although I won't tell other people they won't enjoy a car as much with an auto, I won't, and none of my like-minded friends would.
I don't see why it's unreasonable to believe a more expensive car to have more value. I'm not justifying taking up two parking spots, but some people use beaters for a reason.
FWD was a killer for me on these. AWD C30 would have been amazing in my book, but paying that much for a 'luxury' econobox doesn't float my goat.
