As an automotive engineer that often deals with the studio I shall award you one star as I am unable to give you anymore. I’d give you a dozen if I could because that dialogue is spot on.

Maybe we are missing the mark here. This is a low cost autonomous car, that does not need extensive crash testing for table tops, swivel chairs, etc. This is for Lyft, Uber and Hertz to buy, and the unit cost trumps innovative changes. If the general public buys it too, that is icing on the cake.

I have the opposite take. I spent my 20's too frugally living completely debt free - I regret not buying my dream car then and now kids and a wife say I am going to have to wait even longer. Absolutely, if you have debt now in your 20's, don’t get your car but just understand it might be your only shot for a while.
