Free LS build =/= LT5 with a factory warranty. I work at the plant that machines the block and head (well for the current LT4 but I’m fairly certain this will come our way as well), we put a lot of extra quality checks that your backyard LS couldn’t dream of, even beyond your run of the mill N/A 6.2.

Looking down at radio controls to change your tunes is very visual. More than once had to wait for a guy to look back up just to watch him panic and lurch forward right where I would’ve been.

Hire a Chauffeur.

There was a 720S there and we only get one fender shot?

“corporation worshiping and weak mind”

These are my two thoughts exactly. Of course anything beyond cosmetic changes would rule the game out for me, but EA has felt the heat on that, the free market has drawn that line in the sand.

I know the EA loot box fiasco was bad, but bad enough to warrant government intervention? I’m fairly liberal and don’t mind appropriate government intervention and regulation but presumably these are adults that are buying loot boxes, minors shouldn’t have a credit/debit card to be able to purchase these things, and

They’ve continued to update and release new characters for the game, and plan to continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Back in the day if you wanted new characters you bought a expansion. Now it’s free, and if you want you can spend a little extra on boxes. Considering the events and new skins I’m fine with

Agreed, there is a subtle difference between collectable and classic, 1st gen Mustangs and Miatas are great classics but without a special edition they’re just not all that collectible, they’d need to be the better part of 80 years old to get to that status, like the Model T, where the population has thinned enough to

You must be all leg (or have really big rear facing kids seats). I can fit one in an IS300, no surgery needed, though it is a bit cramped. In an actual large sedan I’m sure there is plenty of space.

The most practical solution is a mini-van, best is entirely subjective. I wouldn’t be able to stand driving a mini van everyday. People manage 2 kids in 911's much less a big sedan like a Charge, SS, or CTS. If you want to have fun there are plenty of ways to do that, it just depends on how you want to compromise.

This is another good choice, heck I’ve seen photos of these with 3 car seats in the back.

Compared to a Chevy SS? Or a lightly used Caddy CTS-V? Maybe they drive better than they used to but you’re just not gonna have that much fun. I drove my dads Sienna a bunch and it wasn’t as bad as say a truck but it still sucked.

+1 for not giving up. If you’re truly a “Car Guy” then driving something boring will drain you way too fast. You don’t want that kind of resentment with your kids. Fortunately there are plenty of large RWD or AWD sedans that are fun and kid friendly.

I think it’s more of a problem being twins. As a twin I can say it doesn’t mix well with 2 doors cars. The rear seats may fit, after copious research, but it may not be worth it considering you cud get a Chevy SS or Cadillac CTS-V...

I never bother calling, granted I don’t usually look for very rare cars, but usually if they’re telling me to do the leg work to buy their car they’re not getting a sale from me.

Sometimes Miata is a joke but this time it really is the answer. Learn on something good, I mean old beater trucks? Come on, you want this guy to enjoy it not run back to autos! The Merkur could be fine too but old turbo’d cars kinda make me nervous. There are few cars that have a better trans than a Miata in this

Had a 2012 Mazda 2 that was DD’d through WNY winters. That thing was the cleanest un-rusted car I’ve owned so far, granted it doesn’t quite hit you 8 year mark.

We agree on that point.
