Haven’t we determined that super cars overwhelmingly attract other dudes?

As a replacement for the 670S it’s not that special (compared to say a LaFerrari or even a 458), which was itself a replacement for the MP4-12C. Mclaren doesn’t limit production runs so they’ll make as many as they can sell. I don’t know that they’ll get down to $80K but some MP4s are already down to $125k which is

You *might* be able to get an old (first gen?) RAV-4 in his price range, but a CX-5?

Stick generally to the Japanese cars and do lots of research on anything you find to rule out common problems. The condition and care of the car is as important as make and model or mileage in this price range. Usually I keep an eye out for a week or two to get a feel for whats out their and when a gem comes along I

Hell & Country?

I mean, my car can plow through a farmer market but that doesn’t make it unsafe on the road. Cars are kind inherently dangerous but most of that comes down to how they are used. If someone does something unsafe while driving one then there is law to punish them. To make something illegal to protect against actions

That’s like saying capitalism leads to deregulation which leads to anarchy.

First off AWD or 4WD is hardly necessary for bad weather, I’m just tired of people saying that. Get a good set of tires and you’ll be all set with 2WD.

My understanding is that a yacht has to be 20 feet from the property line for whatever reason (safety? idk). The Yacht being so long is in that 20 ft buffer zone that is supposed to be yacht free. So yeah sounds like it reaches the property lines extended in to the water, or close enough that they are breaking some

Fortunately it isn’t, I’ll probably end up with an ATS one day for manual and RWD reasons.

Right, but if we base minimum wage off inflation then it should be between $8 and $11 dollars per hour, depending on the era you choose to start with, wages have failed to keep up with rising costs.

Thus far wage increases in many areas have seemed to work out well, especially where cost of living warrants a change. Costs for goods and services do go up but now that the poor have more income they are more likely to spend and so sales don’t drop off and in some cases have gone up. The best argument IMO for higher

I have never wanted a Buick so much. Pricing will determine whether I’d get one of these or an ATS. Would be a good option for my wife though...

I’ve always seen Buick fill the same niche that Volvo does, entry level luxury. The GS sedan will be moderately sporty but where as an ATS is a 3 series competitor, and is geared toward performance in that manner. The Regal seems more of a lower end Audi or Volvo (and I suppose Infinite and Acura?) competitor where

Personally I see this as a CP simply cause I don’t care much for after market tuning companies all that much. I don’t mind high mileage vehicles either, and use that to my advantage to buy at a lower price point. I just don’t see the value when I could buy a GTO for as low as $8000, rebuild and add in all the work to

+05 still starts at nearly a decade ago... Where I live new Outbacks are all the rage in the up and coming gentrifying neighborhoods and a pretty standard in the middle class ones as well. If Subaru was still selling to the people it did years ago it wouldn’t be doing as well as it does now.

I use podcasts almost exclusively as a replacement for radio, far more now than I used to in 09. Some really great stuff out there, especially from NPR if you miss the segment live.

I had a thought once, to try and add electric front wheel drive to an MR2 while retaining the rear wheel drive mid engine. Never got to far with that idea but big projects like that always seemed like fun to me. More power and traction!

I think the decision to restomod or restore really comes down to a case by case basis. Some cars have blown engines that can’t be fixed, and in that case it loses value not being numbers matching. Then a lot comes down to the owner, which it always does since it’s their car and their vision, not yours.
