Just to throw more weirdness into the mix, they left Amy with pale arms, I mean why change one and not the other? I think that leaves a lot of bad impressions when seeing the two character designs together.

I don't think the series needs a face lift...if anything the character designs needed to be simpler not more convoluted and messy . But what the series needs is a competent developers.

Yeah, even a tweak that minor (technically) would be something that could potentially change my mind regarding the redesigns.

This is clearly an effort to get Sonic in front of younger audiences while trying to hold onto the fans who've given him such longevity. Sonic's a character with a dedicated but fickle audience and a move like Sonic Boom can either get them excited or worried. We'll have more on Sonic Boom as info becomes available.

Is sega ever going to learn that these gimmicks is not going to fix the issue the series has?
