I may be wrong, but I think you’re confusing the host charged with taking the data outside the park: not Maeve, but Abernathy. It didn’t work because, when Charlotte send Sizemore to retrieve it form the storage and put it out of the park, Abernathy is gone..

Maeve’s breakout was programmed to get the data out of the park. She rejected it at the end to go find her daughter, which was Ford screwing over the Delos board. It wasn’t her breaking from her programming.

Why do you not think that Maeve’s “decision” to come back to the park to find her “daughter” was anything but the story written for her? Bernard only showed her that her entire plan to that point (and the next few steps) were coded into her, not that she was to actually leave. And when he says she’s done this before,…

Literally none of that is hinted at. You have to assume that to even make remote sense of it. Felix maybe gets a pass but Sylvester doesnt. He had dozens of chances to stop it or not help. And the security was awful. How did all that go down and NO ONE knew? And they’ve guns that don’t harm humans... why not use those?

I suspect that host Ford was building in his secret lair for 4 episodes... was Ford. And that fake-host Ford was shot.
